I am capturing a cluster of weathered, iron-wrought birdcages suspended in a rainstorm, filled with tiny, floating embers that hum with golden warmth against the cold, slate-grey sky.
How we developed it
A tall 9:16 vertical composition featuring a cluster of intricate, weathered iron-wrought birdcages suspended from invisible wires against a torrential downpour. Shot on authentic infrared film, the scene renders the falling rain as sharp, ethereal streaks of light while the iron cages possess a deep, obsidian texture. Tiny embers within each cage glow with brilliant white luminosity, contrasting sharply against the dramatic, void-black infrared sky. The atmosphere is haunting and surreal, with the foliage in the background rendered in ghostly, high-contrast white tones, creating a stark, monochromatic masterpiece of light and shadow.
