a halloween night with young girls holding pumpkins, a black cat sitting on a pumpkin, a tree with falling leaves and ghosts
How we developed it
A sprawling nocturnal landscape matte painting set on a crisp Halloween eve. A wide panoramic view shows an imposing, leafless tree silhouettes against a brooding, starlit sky. Below, three young girls gather near the trunk, clutching glowing carved pumpkins that cast dramatic shadows on the frost-dusted ground. A solitary black cat perches on a cluster of pumpkins, staring into the mist. Ghostly figures emerge from the dense, layered fog, rendered with fine, semi-transparent brushstrokes. The composition emphasizes atmospheric depth with a cold, silver-toned lighting scheme contrasting with the rich, fiery gold of the scattered lanterns.
