How we developed it
Inside a dimly lit, claustrophobic basement, a detective kneels amidst shattered debris, his face illuminated by a harsh, single-point overhead light. The scene is rendered in the stark, cinematic style of a graphic novel, utilizing deep cross-hatching and heavy ink washes to build depth. His gaze overlaps with a ghostly, saturated vision of the killer's perspective, projecting macabre, saturated crimson flashes against the desaturated environment. The square composition uses tight, claustrophobic framing to trap the viewer within the detective’s unsettling realization, creating a visual hierarchy that pulls the eye directly into the cold, calculated madness.
